Meet the team! Chuck Hohenberg of Washington University in St. Louis, MO is using mass spectrometry to investigate noble gases in sample wafers and the aluminum kidney using laser extraction. Focused laser heating allows the noble gases contained in individual micron-sized mineral grains to be routinely studied.
